Chocolate Malt Simpson's

Simpson's Chocolate Malt is a deeply roasted specialty malt that adds rich cocoa, dark coffee and roasted-nut flavours with a smooth roasted bitterness and dark brown colour. It is well suited to porters, stouts, black ales and other dark beer styles.

• Colour: 398–485°L (1067–1300 EBC)
• Moisture: 3% maximum
• Extract: 70% dry basis minimum
• Typical usage: Up to 10% of the grist
• Flavour: Dark chocolate, coffee and roasted nuts
