Monastery Mischief – Homebrew Junction Beer Kit

Monastery Mischief is our take on the classic Belgian Dubbel — deep amber, malty, and just a little naughty. Built on a base of Belgian pale malt, Munich dark, and CaraMunich II, with biscuit for that rich bread-crust character and pale chocolate to give it a hint of roast and a gorgeous ruby-brown color.

Golden candi sugar lightens the body while boosting the ABV, and MJ Abbey Ale yeast brings out a swirl of dark fruit, spice, and subtle banana. EKG and Saaz hops keep it balanced and smooth.

This is the beer you brew when you want something a little more contemplative — or when you want to see if you can finish a second pint without starting a theological debate.

Tasting Note:
Rich caramel and toffee malt profile, light raisin and banana esters, balanced finish.

Available two ways:
– 10 L Pasteurized Wort Kit – Makes 23 L (6 US gal) finished beer. Just add water and the included yeast.
– All-Grain Kit – Includes pre-milled grains, hops, and yeast for full mash brewing.
