Crystal Medium Malt Simpson's

Simpson's Crystal Medium brings pronounced caramel, toffee, burnt-sugar and light raisin notes with a warm copper-red colour. It adds body, residual sweetness and malt depth to bitters, amber and red ales, brown ales, Scotch ales, porters and dubbels.

• Colour: 63–71°L (167–190 EBC)
• Moisture: 5% maximum
• Extract: 70% dry basis minimum
• Typical usage: 5–15% of the grist
